Created to Love You

I gave you everything I had,
Stood by you when the times were hard,
I cheered you up when you were sad,
Protected you like your bodyguard,
I treated you good when life treated you bad,
Because of you I was rude to my dad,
Just to please you, I made my mom mad,
I took you like my special joker and wild card,
You were the only thing I had that made me glad,
But now you wanna relegate me to the backyard?


I wish I knew what I could do to make you not leave,
If I was told you would leave me, I wouldn’t believe.
I sit here wondering what I may have done wrong,
We have been building this since we were very young,
I thought the bond we had was very strong,
I never knew I have been wrong all along.
But what did you ask that I did not do?
What did you request that I denied you?
Are you just gonna leave me and walk away?
Walk away with no explanations to say?


My face may be dry, but my heart shed tears,
Seeing that this is how it ends after many years,
Remembering your promises to always be there,
To always be there for me to care and to share.
You now leave me completely broken and in pain,
I don’t even know if I will ever be able to love again,
Because I already gave all my love to you,
But regardless, I will never stop loving you,
Until you return, I will keep waiting for you,
Because I was created to love you.
