Diamond in the Mud

She was a nerd,
Worse than you've ever seen or heard.
She had huge glasses on her face,
It's a very pathetic case.
She had braces on her teeth,
She is the last person you would ever wanna meet.
She dresses like a granny,
Looked sickly and skinny.
Her hair looks frizzy,
Made her look really scary and freaky.
When she speaks, no one is attentive,
Coz she was far from attractive.

But 5years later,
She is the most sought after,
What you never imagined her becoming ever:
A classy diva,
As well as a hot model,
She looks like an angel.
Then she was a write-off,
Now she is a show off.
Then she was a monster,
Now she is superstar.
Life is more than what you see,
You never know whom people can turn out to be.

Seeing beyond the present is essential,
To discovering a hidden potential.
She might not look like your dream Queen now,
But with a little work and time she could make go... wow
Try to see in her what others don't see,
Then mould her into what you want her to be.
Finally then you can say she was specially made for you,
And see her as your dream come true.
Physical beauty is deceitful,
But a good heart makes anyone beautiful.
She might be covered with mud,
But she might just be a diamond in the mud.
