Why does a girl still front,
Even when you are the one she actually wants.
Why does she always pretend,
Like she doesn't know what you intend.
She says she is not interested,
Even when she knows you have gotten her heart arrested.
She insists she will rather be a friend,
But doesn't want your interest in her to end.
She makes you feel like you are a pest,
But when you don't call, her mind is not at rest.
She says you don’t have what it takes to be her lover,
But she actually dreams about you two being together.
She says she would have to go and think about it,
Although she already knows you are her best fit.
They make everything complicated and hard,
But if you walk away, they get really sad,
And they go all angry and mad,
After loosing the good chance they had.
Isn't this a wrong step they take?
Will I be justified to see them as fake?
Or would I be making a big mistake?
But why do they have to that for Gods sake?

This issue baffles me everyday,
So I asked some of them to hear what they had to say.
Some say its alright to be a little sassy,
Because it makes you look classy.
One said if you don't do that, you will be considered cheap,
And whatever you sow, you will definitely reap.
Another said, that's the only time they had the control over,
Because the moment the guy has you, he takes over.
But allow me to come out for real,
And tell you how I personally feel...
Being difficult is not the way out,
It will only make you end up loosing out.
Try all the pranks you possibly can,
Trust me, it still won't guarantee you a good man.
It is not everyone that knows how to play the hard-to-get game,
Remember, each person is different and everyone is not the same.
Being nasty is not being smart,
Still won't stop a guy who intends to break your heart.
Try to be smart, yet apply some wisdom,
And don't give yourself the chance to act dumb.
Act like one who is well mannered and cultured,
And don't forget to always act matured!!!

If you know you want it,
Go ahead and get it,
Before you end up loosing it.
