Flash Back

I remember the first time we met,
It was a night I would never forget.
A night I could never ever regret.
My heart beat faster than a jet.
My eyes jumped out of its socket.
My temperature shot up like a rocket.
I stood watching and I began to sweat.
I was so turned on that I was getting wet.
I had to support it with a hand in my pocket,
As your ravishing beauty took away my breath.


When our eyes finally made that needed contact,
It had a mind-blowing and life-changing impact.
My heart skipped and I quickly took my eyes away,
I suddenly went dumb, didn’t know what I could say.
Then I returned home disappointed and couldn’t eat,
Thinking about what to say next time and practising it.
Praying earnestly that we get another chance to meet,
So I could describe to you what you do to my heart-beat
It was like yesterday when this beautiful story began,
Now you blow a cooling breeze into my life like a fan


I remember clearly the first time we spoke,
It was more refreshing than a cold bottle of coke.
As we spoke, our barriers and boundaries broke,
We got more into each other, sharing sweet jokes.
Then I was able to summon the courage as a man,
To ask you out on a date and be my special woman.
I remember then how strongly I felt about you,
How passionate and excited I was about you.
That’s exactly how I still feel about you,
As I flash back to when I first met you.
